THE BRIEF

Salisbury Hospital had a portable MRI machine on lease at the hospital. Unfortunately, it only had accommodation for one patient at a time and those with upcoming appointments had to wait outside. As some of these patients were elderly and vulnerable, something had to be done to provide protection from the rain as well as the sun.

THE SOLUTION

Pro-Tect built them a queuing and waiting shelter, which provided immediate protection from the elements for those waiting outside. As the scanner was temporary, the shelter also needed to be temporary as it would need to be easily removed once the leasing contract was up. The concrete blocks, unique to the Pro-Tect range were a perfect solution, leaving no damage to the surrounding area.
