THE BRIEF
2 Sisters Food Group is a leading UK food company helping to feed the nation with lots of staff at their factories nationwide. Their existing smoking shelter in Newport was old and with the current restrictions, there was not enough space for the smokers to stand in a socially distanced way and remain safe. In Flixton, staff needed a covered area to enjoy their breaks outside.
THE SOLUTION
Pro-Tect were on the case installing shelters that required no building works 3 weeks after the order was made. Our builders followed all the H&S regulations as requested by 2 Sisters engineering managers.
A 5m X 5m Pro-Tect multipurpose weather shelter was installed in their car park as a smoking shelter. This massively increased the space smokers could use outside and allowed them to remain socially distanced. Signage on the structure provided a perfect place to provide staying safe reminders for staff.
A 10m x 5m Pro-Tect multipurpose weather shelter was installed at Flixton providing staff with ample space to take breaks safely whilst remaining protected from the rain and sun.
